Carevest Capital Inc. is a private real estate investment corporation based in Calgary, Alberta, with additional offices in Vancouver, Victoria, London & Mississauga. They have multiple private investors. Investment funds are primarily used to finance real estate development projects.

Star Global was first approached by Carevest when the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) made it mandatory for T5 statements of investment activities to be submitted digitally when more than 500 submissions were to be made.

Star Global produced Magnetic Media submissions for T5 statements of investment income that fully comply with CRA specifications. Star Global worked closely with Carevest's financial department, to first educate them on what the new technology entailed, and second to devise a method to get data out of the Carevest system.

The files are validated against the XSD schema, and Star Global prepares of digital media to be sent to the CRA. Star Global has assisted Carevest with annual reporting of Investment income to the CRA for the past four years running.
